I have the feeling every time I write the blog, it's cold, but let's start from the beginning.

After a good sleep, we started with a very nice breakfast at the accommodation today.

Planning a relaxed 20 minutes to go to the train station, we were suddenly in a big rush as the way was blocked by a big red wall, we had to follow before we could reach the train. We made it at the last minute by crossing the rails in a semi-legal way and taking the last meters running.

So fully warmed up we could start our today's journey paused after a few metres for a quick pit-stop getting something to eat for me (first indicator being above the "Weißwurst-Äquartor": no Pretzels).

Besides nearly slipping with my bike on a hosepipe at a street work building site, we made very good progress, scratching nearly at the 20km/h mark in average speed.

Middle-/Northern-Germany is really interesting in terms of hills... we were stopping on a bridge crossing a river and were on the highest spot for kilometres.

When we reached Erfurt, we saw a welcome sign in 6 languages (English(!), German, French, Russian, Italian and Spanish) but although they spent a fortune for it, it wasn't enough, so we're still looking for a multilingual sign with more text... Will keep you posted.

We also followed a very impressive Skater. No matter how fast we peddled, he was faster, going far over 30km/h.

On another refill stop, Phil was pointing at a woman, telling me, she is waiting for us. After a good laugh, we started again and guess what: she was observing us all the time and started, too. She always stayed 200m in front of us for the next kilometres... Scary.

Having another stop in Erfurt, wiggling through the pedestrian zone and had a good speed countryside, we slowly come closer and closer to our destination: the historical city of Weimar.

Few last slow kilometres through the city, which killed our average speed, we arrived at a nice B&B with a friendly receptionist, who opened up the breakfast room so we could do Joomla stuff there.

And yes it was again cold and cloudy today but you see, I only complained twice here... But for sure I'll wear a jumper tomorrow!
